We are looking for a passionate Back-end Engineer Intern to join our team. As a Back-end Intern, you will be involved in developing and maintaining back-end services under the guidance of our experienced engineers. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with PHP and the Laravel Framework while enhancing your problem-solving skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with senior engineers to design, develop, and optimize backend services.
- Learn and apply best practices in backend development, including database design and API development.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with the team to improve code quality.
- Debug and resolve technical issues as they arise.
- Research and implement new technologies to improve performance and scalability.
REQUIREMENTS
- Priority is given to final-year students or fresh graduates.
- Graduating from IT-related majors is an advantage.
- English: basic writing/reading in English.
- Must be available to work full-time (8 hours/day) on-site 4-5 days per week during the 3-month internship.
- Strong creativity, analytical thinking, logical skills, & keen attention to detail.
- Passionate about software development/testing & excited to learn new technologies.
- Fast learner with a positive work attitude.
- Basic knowledge of backend development concepts.
- Familiarity with PHP and Laravel Framework (preferred but not required; training will be provided).
- Understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) is a plus.
- Must have a personal computer.
